Xrays

Xrays are a ‘double edged sword.’  They are a miraculous way to look inside of things without opening them up… quite handy when dealing with living things, old things, and things of great value.  But they are harmful to living tissues, creating mutations in DNA, the internal code of all life.

Unfortunately, since doctors and dentists are often paid extra when they give xrays  to patients, there is an inherent conflict-of-interest propelling them to offer xrays more often than they might otherwise do.

So when offered dental xrays at every exam and checkup, you might think of declining them every other time, or only allowing them when there is some visual evidence recommending their use.  We are not dispensing medical advice here, only making a suggestion regarding conserving your health as well as energy.
