One of the hallmarks of ‘sustainability’ is the phrase “think local.” From the point of view of climate change, thinking locally means trying wherever possible to buy food and products that have been made locally. Besides strenghtening local economies, this minimizes the amount of energy (fossil fuel) that must be consumed to transport what you buy.Here are some links to aid your efforts to think local.
