In order to get manufacturers to switch to more efficient vehicles, we need to create the demand.  Even if you are not currently in the market for a vehicle (including kids, and folks not even thinking of buying one) there’s something you can do!

Call one or more of your local car dealerships and simply ask, “What’s the most fuel-efficient vehicle you sell?”  As dealers hear the question more and more, so will manufacturers, and they will respond with more efficient cars and trucks.  The perception of the market is a powerful mover of the market.
