Cap and Trade
You may have heard of ‘cap and trade’. You may or may not know exactly what it means. It is one of many proposed solutions to the problem of massive greenhouse gas emissions and the damage they are doing to our planet by the global warming they cause.
Here is a wonderful video we found online, put together by Environmental Defense, about 10 minutes in length but well worth the time investment. It explains the system of cap and trade, as well as its use in the past to help solve other environmental problems. The video brings together many seemingly disparate points of view.
